Summer Essentials for Fun in the Sun!

Okay so we all know I've been a bit MIA the past few months... okay, okay TOTALLY MIA. Honestly, I have no excuse other than that we hit our busy season at the shop and I've been feeling pretty overwhelmed and swamped with artwork to get done and deadlines to meet, and unfortunately, my little South + Sparrow seemed to fall by the wayside. But, I've been missing you all a ton! I miss creating content and trying new things to share with you! So, I decided it was time that I shove the other stuff to the side and come roaring back!

Sephora Play:: MAY

So after giving Birchbox over a year, I decided to try something different for a while!  Don't get me wrong, I loved my Birchbox, but after a while I started to feel like like I was collecting an over abundance of perfume samples, foil packets and sunscreen, and it was time for a change!  I had tried to subscribe to Sephora's Play! box when it first released but was faced with the endless wait list like most of the rest of us.  However about a month ago, spots randomly opened up and I was able to finally subscribe! I figured, why not, I love Sephora... I love makeup... maybe this means more makeup... ::insert heart eyes emoji here:: So, I waited impatiently for my first PLAY box to arrive.

"Bath bombs made with love and fairy dust..."

I've come to the conclusion that whether you're someone who enjoys a long soak in the tub or someone who prefers a quick spritz in the shower, ladies just about everywhere seem to have rediscovered their love of all things sudsy and smell good. Bath bombs are basically the new frappachino. (And I mean that with no disrespect, because I love a good frappachino...)

But why the sudden love? Well, what could make a bath or shower more fun and relaxing, then a bit of aromatherapy, some great skin moisturizers and turning your bath water into a rainbow!?
